Before I knew what design was, I was already doing it. I came home from school and made things. Scrapbooks, sand art, paintings with textures you could feel. Gifts for my parents on a random Tuesday. That never stopped.

I draw the print, have it printed on 100% silk and turn it into what you want: a scarf, a garment, pillowcases, a sleep mask. One pattern, one owner.

The motif is drawn first. Then it is built into a seamless repeat and printed on real silk. Then it is cut and sewn.

This yellow set started as a sketch. I chose the silk, designed the cut, found the makers and ran the process until it was ready to wear. That is the service: you bring the idea and I return the finished piece, with every step handled for you.

Hand fans
The fan nobody would make
A friend who has everything had a birthday coming. I wanted to give him a silk fan made only for him, and found that nobody makes them. So I learned how. I studied the materials, drew the print, had it printed on real silk and gathered craftspeople, one for the wood, one for the engraving, one for the assembly. The ribs are oak and mahogany, engraved with his name. People I had only written to for advice kept asking to see it finished. Now I make them to order.
